This kit makes solid gains in both horsepower and torque. With no other mods than an APR Turbo-Back Exhaust, the kit made 242hp/268lb-ft on 91 octane gas, and 245hp/275lb-ft on 93 octane gas. Although the exhaust is not required, it is highly recommended.
If you are currently an APR Stage I or II customer and purchase a K04 upgrade, you will receive all EMCS options for free.

APR's catback exhaust is a stainless steel, mandrel bent system. Our exhaust begins after the factory catalytic converter with a 2.5" center pipe which contains a small 3" resonator. The 2.5" pipe continues back to the muffler and two stealth downturn tips. With TIG welding, fully stainless construction, and CNC'ed hangers, you will not find a higher quality system on the market.

APR's cat-back exhaust is a stainless steel, mandrel bent system. Our cat-back exhaust begins after the factory catalytic converter with a with a 3.0" center pipe which contains a small 4" resonator. APR now has an upgraded in-tank fuel pump available for your high horsepower 1.8T. This is the same pump that is sold in our Transverse Stage III and III+ turbo kits. This pump is a straight drop-in, and uses the same factory pump pickups as your original pump, so there is no need to worry about fuel starvation when cornering. APR's 1.8T in-tank fuel pump is rated to support up to 360HP.

APR now offers a complete oil line kit for your 1.8T with a Garrett GT turbocharger. These lines have the correct fittings crimped directly to the stainless line, minmizing the chance for leaks on these critical parts.
The oil feed line is a -6 line that comes with all the necessary banjo fittings and hardware for the 1.8T. It also comes with the correct oil inlet restrictor for the GT series turbos.
