Using a purpose-built and designed cooling core (a Hahn exclusive!) provided a proven solution, one not limited by choosing some "off-the-shelf" universal core. This core features a whopping 835 cubic inches of volume! Added to expertly-crafted sheetmetal end tanks that are carefully designed to augment airflow and avoid turbulence and 'dead spots'. For a well-engineered finishing touch, Hahn retained the OEM mounting brackets and their beneficial rubber isolator mounts.
The largest unit available, with 28% more core volume than the nearest competitor, this unit will provide all the cooling your TC could ever need, no matter what you do in the future to increase its power! It not only increases overall power, it also improves throttle response due to reduced inlet restriction. While its overall core volume is over 150% that of stock, it still nestles cleanly into the space occupied by the stock intercooler. Designing a downpipe is usually a simple feat right, no. It's pretty easy to make a make a pipe look like a factory piece. The difficult part is making a pipe with a cat inside to make very close to catless power. Our downpipe was able to extract the optimal amount of flow out of the downpipe with a cat in place. This was done with strategic placement of metal matrix catalytic converter and 3 inch T304 Stainless piping. By playing with the cell count of the cat and the placement we were able to achieve a part that does not trigger a cel and supports high power levels.

Turbo XS Catback Exhaust System for 08-10 Chevy Cobalt SS
When designing a catback you have to have foresight. In this particular situation we needed to think about what would a customer want to do with this car and how would that translate to making a proper fitting exhaust. The first thing was it has to be T304 Stainless 3 inch diameter mandrel bent piping which was a no brainer. Second was to get the exhaust note to a tone that is acceptable without sacrificing the performance of the car. We played with multiple muffler designs, some longer some shorter. We settled on the current size and outer diameter that would equal superb sound quality and incredible performance. The final step was to finish the exhaust with a tip that fits the rear fascia and suits all the lines, a 3.5 inch slash cut tip fit with perfection. So we "thought" we were finished, lowered the car, turns out we needed to rework the midpipe to work on a lowered car. It turns out that this is common problem with other exhaust systems. NOT OURS!

Agency Power Catback Exhaust System for 08+ Chevy Cobalt SS
Released for the new turbo charged Chevrolet Cobalt SS is this catback exhaust system from Agency Power to help create an incredible sound and power increase. The exhaust system is all T304 stainless steel featuring robotic TIG welds and a complete polished finish. The system connects to the factory catalytic converter with a thick flange and includes a resonator to reduce in cabin noise. The muffler and mid pipe section fit together with a slip fit design for easy fitment. The exhaust fits with all the factory exhaust hanger mounts and features a straight through round canister design. The 4 inch exhaust tip is elongated to sit nicely out of the rear bumper exhaust opening. This exhaust system was tested on our Mustang Dyno and achieved approximately 10 horsepower gain. With horsepower also came improved throttle response, and low end torque gains. This exhaust is designed to work with the 2008 and up Chevy Cobalt SS sedan.

The stock supercharger system was never intended for much more than 250 HP. Trying to make it do anything more will result in outrageous inlet air temperatures of 250 degrees or more with 2.6" pulleys that not only don't make healthy power, they force the supercharger come on even harder, which just aggravates tirespin in lower gears. With the Hahn TurboSystem, inlet air temps are typically less than 100 degrees, and the smooth power delivery makes the car MUCH easier to manage in lower gears.
