Agency Power GT35R Turbo Kit for Mitsubishi EVO 10 MIVEC4
The turbo kit features all made in the USA components which are a direct replacement for the OEM turbo parts. The hand made TIG welded header features a true merged collector for proper exhaust flow. The ½ inch thick stainless steel flange is CNC machined for a precise flush fit to the engine. From the header, we run twin Tial 44mm external wastegates with V-Band clamps that run dump tubes straight to the ground. Each dump tube features a flex joint and bracket for a secure fit as it shoots flames from the serious power. The kit features a new turbo suction pipe and upper intercooler pipe needed to match up to the twin scroll Garrett GT35R turbo. The intercooler pipe is a 2 piece unit with a bracket for a secure fit on the radiator support beam. The intercooler pipe fits to the stock or aftermarket front mount intercooler with the provided silicone coupler. This pipe is available in a polished finish. The turbo suction pipe is designed to mount up to the stock air intake system or the Agency Power short ram intake. It features the provisions for the blow off valve return, breather line, and boost fittings necessary like OEM. To keep the Garrett GT35R turbo cool, Agency Power supplies proper water and oil lines with fittings to bolt up to the factory locations.
The large GT35R twin scroll turbo mounts to the exhaust system by a V-Band clamp 3 inch downpipe. The downpipe has a flex joint to provide necessary room for movement as the engine flexes its massive power. The downpipe is designed to bolt up to the factory catalytic converter or our Agency Power Cat Delete Pipe. This twin scroll GT35R turbocharger provides the 2.0L engine with quick spool up and serious top end power. Based on the dyno sheets, you can see peak boost being achieved in the mid range RPM’s. That makes this kit a great daily driver and road racing turbo setup as well having the ability to run low 11 second quarter mile times.
With the sold separately Agency Power parts including a Front Mount Intercooler, Catback Exhaust, Cat Delete Pipe, Short Ram Intake, Upgraded Injectors, Upgraded Fuel Pump, and ECU Flash, this bolt on kit put down 510 horsepower on 91 octane at 20psi of boost and 600 horsepower on C16 race gas with stock internals. The C16 race gas map at 30psi of boost held a perfect air fuel reading. With further custom tuning, the addition of larger camshafts, and stronger head studs, this turbo kit will produce an easy 650-700 horsepower.

Blitz 50 Trim Drop In Turbo Upgrade for Mitsubishi EVO 10 MIVEC4
The Blitz Wastegate Actuator upgrade for the 2008-2009 Evo X is a great remedy to a common complaint among Evo X brethren. While the Evo X is impressively tuned from the factory, those that closely monitor boost pressure will notice a significant taper as the engine approaches redline, resulting in less top end pull and lower peak power output. To address this issue, Blitz has developed their fully adjustable upgraded wastegate actuator. HKS has released GT wastegate actuators for the 08+ Evo X. These HKS actuators have three distinct advantages over their OEM counterparts. They use a larger diameter diaphragm enabling increased boost stability and response at higher rpm ranges. They utilize a turnbuckle type rod end enabling boost level adjustment without the removal of the rod end from the crank arm of the turbine. And lastly these actuators are constructed from billet aluminum with a purple finish.

An intercooler is not ground breaking at all, but our core is different and made to a level different than the competition. When we built our core, we made it as big as possible (not going to 4" thick which is a bit too thick in our opinion) and still using the FULL opening in the bumper. 4" Intercoolers do work, but the downfall is the thicker it gets the less effective it gets. Given 2 cores with the same volume, a thinner core that is bigger in all ambient directions is better than a super thick one that is smaller on the ambient side. There is enough room to make ours 4" thick but it does make it a very tight fit between the bumper and AC condenser. So some of our descision had to do with fit.

So if you look at our core you can't really even see welds because we made it as wide as we could (while still fitting between the AC lines and being able to connect to the boost tubes). Wider is better as there is more ambient cooling surface. Because of the high IC inlet temps, a bigger core on the Ambient side is important. The hieght of our core is also as big as we felt would still be functional. We could have gone taller but its just that much less of the core that gets air flow. So we made it as big as we could.

We found the OEM isn't centered at all, so we fixed that (which is something not everyone has done). Our core is not an off the shelf core, its one we designed, and had built. While that does add cost, it does make ours that much better. Next up is the cast endtanks. These are also more expensive to make but flow better and look way nicer! This is not something people do initially on a new core because of cost. But this is the one thing we feel makes our part stand out from the rest.
There are lot of factors that go into making a proper intercooler, price, fittment, installation ease, size and functionality. We feel we have a very good balance of all these things.
Weapon R Upper Intercooler Piping for Mitsubishi EVO 10 MIVEC4

AGP Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) for Mitsubishi EVO 10 MIVEC4
The AGP front mount intercooler for the 2008+ Evo X is a perfect addition to improve overall performance. The AGP FMIC features tig welded end tanks attached to a 20" x 12" x 3.5" bar and plate core. AGP designed their front mount assembly to fit perfectly in the factory location and does NOT require you to remove or trim any portion of the stock bumper support! AGP's Evo X FMIC also clears the factory lower under-tray so you do not need to remove it.

It cools at 90-99% efficiency under almost all conditions and has less than .75psi pressure drop at 450 hp of airflow. You couldn't heat soak this if you tried. Throughout AGP's dyno testing on the Evo X, they kept seeing timing retard (knock) around 5000rpm with the factory intercooler and 91 octane gas, where the power would drop. Since upgrading to their Evo X FMIC they noticed consistant power across the board due to a cooler air charge. Back to back pulls on the dyno now result in identical power curves due to no heatsoak on a car that has so far, made 430whp. This is a great upgrade for a stock Evo X, and will help you make more and more power down the road as you continue to add performance products to enhance the 4B11T.

AMS EVO 10 / EVO X (FMIC) Piping for Mitsubishi EVO 10 MIVEC4
The aluminum intercooler hard pipe kit from AGP completely replaces the factory rubber hoses that can fail under high boost conditions. The 08-09 Evo X hard pipe kit from AGP relocates the factory blow off valve to the hot side tube gives the re-route a direct path back to the intake. The tubing is 2.5" diameter on the hot side and 3" diameter cold side featuring mandrel bent aluminum to ensure smooth flow. AGP also includes the required silicone couplers and hose clamps. This kit ensures the charged air coming out of the turbo charger has a smooth path into the engine while reducing the chance of a boost leak. The Artisan Performance Upper Intercooler Pipe is a T-304 thin walled stainless product that significantly out performs its stock counterpart. This product was developed after repeated dyno runs showing inconsistent heat readings from the stock upper tube and the multiple size configurations that we felt were a serious flaw in the overall efficiency of the system.

The HKS Super Sequential Blow-Off Valve (SSQV) for the 08-09 EVO X is a dual stage pull-type relief valve. Unlike typical push type blow-off valves, the SSQV will not leak under any level of boost because the boost pressure keeps the valve closed against its seat. The SSQV releases excess boost when there is a pressure alteration. This ensures a quick valve response and complete closure during idle. Many competitors use a push-type blow-off valve design with a large valve to accommodate high boost / high horsepower applications. These large valves react slowly and require high pressure to open, and are not able to activate and prevent compressor surge at light-load conditions.

On the other hand, smaller, fast reacting push-type valves do not discharge the airflow capacity required for high horsepower applications and tend to slowly open and leak as boost pressure overpowers the spring. For maximum performance, the HKS SSQV incorporates both a small primary valve for ultra quick activation, and a larger secondary valve for additional discharge capacity. The SSQV is engineered to initially open the small primary valve at light throttle and load conditions, then sequentially opens the secondary valve for additional relief capacity under high boost and load conditions.
The Blitz Venturi Drive Blow off Valve for the 08-09 Evo X relieves compressor surge without reducing compressor speed. It controls boost pressure that is built up by the turbo and vents it into the atmosphere when the car is not under load (in between shifts). This prevents pressure from backing up into the compressor housing, causing the turbo impeller blade to rapidly stop or even worse, to spin backwards (compressor surge or backspin). Doing so can be potentially destructive to the turbine wheel and shaft. Repeated stress over time can cause eminent damage to the turbo charger and eventually lead to turbo failure. A blowoff valve is actuated by pressure changes only, ensuring quick valve responses and complete closures at idle. The BLITZ Venturi Drive blow-off valve not only improves performance and response, but also increases the life of the turbocharger. The Agency Power BOV is a fully adjustable, fully rebuild able, and a completely useful device. The BOV is designed to be used with several different setups. The valve can be set up to vent 100% to the atmosphere or 50/50. This is where 50% of the air is returned to the intake pipe and 50% is vented out. This is the first step in modifying your EVO X. The AMS EVO X intake pipe is designed to improve air flow to the turbocharger and increase horsepower and performance. The AMS EVO X Performance Intake with an AMS Manual Boost Controller set to 21 psi produced a tremendous 45 awhp over stock! The boost held better with the MBC and didn’t taper as much as it did with the factory boost control solenoid.
This intake can be ordered in two different configurations. The default configuration is WITHOUT breather bungs for the crank case and boost control solenoid. With this set-up we recommend an oil catch can for the crank case and venting the solenoid to the atmosphere. This will not affect your EVO X's performance negatively in any way.
The second configuration incorporates bungs on the intake pipe where you plug in your breather hoses just as they were from the factory. This is an option at an additional $50 cost.

The ATP 3", stainless steel cat delete pipe for the 08-09 Evo X is designed to bolt up between the stock or an aftermarket 3" downpipe and a stock or aftermarket catback exhaust. The ATP Evo X test pipe has two (2) O2 bungs making it easy to hook up a wide-band. The ATP Evo X race pipe is for off-road use only and is not emissions legal. Removing the cat is a surefire way to free up some power in your Evo X (ATP says 30 ft/lb of torque and 15 HP on a mildly tuned engine).

The key, however, is to increase heat capacity and reduce compliance without upsetting the stock front to rear brake torque ratio. If the brake upgrade you select adds too much front torque (as many do), you reduce your car's ability to utilize the tractive capacity of all of the tires to the maximum practical extent (even on ABS equipped cars) and you therefore create performance sacrifices. In addition, too many pistons or pistons that are too large will make the brake pedal much more difficult to modulate, which limits a driver's control of brake input on the race track.
