The ultimate in Digital Data logging, Diagnostic, and Monitoring systems for your Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35. If you are a performance enthusiast you need the Cipher. There is no other product on the market that has the features or functionality of Cipher. Tuning your 350Z and G35 to perform at its highest levels of optimization, reliability, and performance requires the ability to know what is going with your car.
The Osiris Tuner system includes Cipher, Map Switching, the flash utility and our powerful, new 2.0 ROM Editor. Osiris Tuner supports NA applications and high horse power forced induction vehicles. Using the an HPX MAF and 1000cc injectors we have tuned for over 550whp on the G35.
Osiris Tuner is a licensed based system. The purchase of Osiris Tuner includes one license that will be transferred to the first ECU that is flashed. This vehicle can then be flashed as many times as the user wants, but the flash will not work on any different vehicles.
Osiris Tuner does not include any base maps or eTunes, the user is expected to develop their own tune for their vehicle using the stock ROMS included in the software package. Paid technical support can be found through UpRev’s Pro Tuners or through purchasing eTunes.
Parameters that are supported in the ROM Editor include:
* Up to 5 Maps on cruise control equipped vehicles * Idle RPM * Speed Limiter * Electronic Throttle Control to achieve Wide Open Throttle at all speeds. * Rev Limiter * DTC disable * AFR Targets * Fuel Compensation * Ignition Timing Advance * Cam Phasing for equipped vehicles. * MAF transfer function * Cranking Enrichment and Ignition Advance * Injector Latency * K Fuel Multiplier * Intake Temp * Calculated Load vs. RPM * Minimum Effective Injector Pulse Width
Every block has its deck surfaced to insure straightness. Each block is bored and honed with a deck plate to exacting specifications to provide the correct piston to cylinder wall clearance. Then all of the pistons rings are file fit to each cylinder to provide the correct ring end gaps which allows you to make more power with less leak down. After this the main and rod bearing clearances are checked with a bore gauge and micrometer (plastigauge is very inaccurate which is why it is not used) to get the appropriate clearances which will ultimately lead to prolonged engine life. The motor is finally assembled and torqued down to factory specifications. The crankshaft is then checked for end play and rod side clearance to make sure they are in spec. A stock sleeved block is good to about 700 horsepower, whereas Darton sleeved block is good for over 1000 horsepower.
Stage 1 heads feature extensive port work on the intake and exhaust. Utilize stock valves and springs which are inspected and tested to meet factory specifications. The heads get surfaced to insure straightness. New guides and seals are installed and the valves and seats get a 3 angle grind and lapped before final assembly.
Stage 2 heads feature all of the work of the stage 1 heads except a Ferrea valve spring and titanium retainer package is used to replace the stock springs and retainers. This allows for higher rpms without the risk of valve float at high rpms. These heads are capable of 7500 rpms.
Stage 3 heads are the best flowing cylinder heads you can buy for your Z or G. They feature 1mm oversize stainless Ferrea valves with the Ferrea race spring and titanium retainer package. These cylinder heads receive the same high quality port work as the stage 2 heads along with additional work to the combustion chambers. A a five angle grind on the seats which is done on a Serdi head machine to accommodate the 1mm oversize Ferrea valves. These heads are capable of 8000 rpms without the risk of valve float.
