This kit is for you high powered turbo guys. At boost levels over 10psi the stock returnless fuel system allows fuel pressure to drop off, sometimes to dangerously low levels even with the addition of a larger fuel pump. This causes the car to be inconsistent and sometimes run lean. The solution is to add a proper vacuum referenced fuel pressure regulator at the engine along with the required fuel return line. This allows your fuel pressure to increase as boost pressure rises as it should, resulting in safer and stronger power output. The kit includes everything you will need for the install. We strongly recommend adding an upgraded fuel pump and properly sized fuel injectors to round out your fuel system.

These 1ZZ pistons from Wiseco are forged from 2618 aluminum and machined to exceptional tolerances. They are designed for tighter piston to cylinder clearances than other aftermarket pistons to minimize piston slap and cylinder bore wear. These are excellent pistons for street or strip. All pistons have coated skirts for low friction and extra long life.

For over 25 years, Crower has been making the finest, USA made 4340 chromoly (chromium-molybdenum) steel billet connecting rods. Every rod is fully CNC machined to remove all surface imperfections, 100% magnaflux inspected and checked for surface hardness, then machined to final size to exacting tolerances within 1/1000 of an inch. Each set of rods is fully balanced and then shot peened to achieve the ultimate in strength and reliability. To complete the package, all Crower rods are equipped with 12-point H-11 tool steel bolts, rated at 220,000 psi tensile strength for incredible clamping strength.

Super tough Cometic multi-layer steel head gasket specifically for big bore 1ZZ-FE engines. If you've sleeved your 1ZZ-FE and have bored it to 82.0 or 82.5mm this is the gasket you need. Thickness is 0.027" which is just slightly thicker than stock and has no major impact on compression ratio. Works great NA or with a turbo or nitrous.

This Fidanza flywheel weighs 8.5 lbs making it the lightest 1ZZ & 2ZZ flywheel available. You can expect a noticeable improvement in acceleration especially in the lower gears and heel-toe downshifting is much easier thanks to much livelier throttle response. Slightly more throttle is needed to pull away from a stop without stalling though most people get used to it and like the sportier feel.
Fidanza Flywheels are made using the highest quality and most modern materials available. The flywheel itself is made from either 6061 T6 or 2024 T3 aluminum depending on the model. Both of these materials are tempered aluminum which are very strong yet very light weight.
The friction surface is very special. Fidanza uses a 1050 high carbon, alloy steel. It is incredibly durable allowing the use of just about any clutch disc material available from organic to Kevlar and even sintered iron.
Fidanza attaches the friction surface using aerospace nuts and bolts. These are some of the best fasteners money can buy. They choose them because of the incredible shear strength and resistance to corrosion.
All Fidanza ring gears are heat treated for durability. They are heated, pressed on and then secured using grade 10 fasteners.

Like their lightweight flywheels Fidanza choose to use the very best in materials. They designed their Three Point Two with the Kevlar buttons. With 100% Kevlar friction you get more grip and more life than the Two Point One. However, since it has no marcel (cushion) this disc sacrifices a little bit of its smooth engagement. Still, this disc can be installed on a daily driver. Just behave and be patient during it’s 500 mile break-in period. Once that’s over you can be as nasty as you want.

This is one mean clutch. Your footwork better be good, it’s no walk in the park. Just because it has a torsion damper like the Three Point Two doesn’t mean it drives like it. Those are ceramic buttons attached to that puck. They provide quite a grip upon engagement. That means power is planted straight to the pavement. Don’t be scared though, it’s not going to give you a larger left leg.

If the car will see any street use we recommend the FX600 Kevlar composite discs. Because of the solid hub design they will still chatter a bit but some would consider this clutch streetable. This clutch has been tested in our shop MR2-S and was the first clutch that allowed us to run 10-second passes and shift at wide open throttle.

The FX700 kit includes the extreme duty ceramic bronze discs for the ultimate in heat and abuse resistance. The FX700 is brutal so don't try driving mom to the grocery store on this clutch. Works best for road course use. Clutch Masters does not claim a specific torque rating for either clutch because it is highly dependent on usage, launching, etc. Making over 500whp and running large drag radials our MR2-S did well with the FX600. If you plan on usage that will cause lots of heat like road course racing, extreme repeated drag launches, etc you may want to consider the FX700. Kit does not include release bearing or clutch alignment tool.
