Our Nissan SR20 TD06SL2 20G with 8cm2 turbine housings give an enormous increase in flow over our Big28 upgrade with 650cfm of airflow. The larger TD06SL2 turbine wheel eliminates the typical backpressure problems associated with smaller turbos and really lets your motor exhale.
The MHI 20G compressor wheel is one of the most popular for 2.0-2.5 liter engines that focus on maximum street car performance, but it is also capable of running as much as 30psi when higher octane fuel is used to avoid detonation.
The wastegate actuator is preset to 1bar (14.5psi) so wastegate flapper blow open in the upper RPM is virtually eliminated.

The FP-Big28 uses modified T25 compressor and turbine housings, which means this turbo could trick its mamma into thinking it was a T25. Don't let that cute little shell fool you, however, because on the inside it's 100% pure evil. We carefully selected a compressor and turbine combination that provide massive flow capabilities and very little back pressure. Doesn't sound like a big deal? Did we mention it makes full boost in just a hair over 3000rpm, and holds solid all the way to redline? Now we're cooking with gas.
The compressor and turbine are the largest T28 available with 37lb/min flow rate, that is about 550cfm.
These units are done only on an exchange basis. We do not have core turbos on hand to sell these outright. You will need to send your old turbo in with a note explaining that you want the FPBig28 mods performed. Turnaround is 2-3 days in most cases, sometimes faster. Dont worry if your old turbo is really messed up, all that gets reused are the compressor and turbine housings and wastegate actuator. The entire center section is replaced with new parts, including our severe duty thrust bearing system.

Each camshaft application is offered in multiple profiles, each with their own lift & duration characteristics to suit various levels of tuning. Lower profiles offer substantial gains in power and a broad useable power band with little compromise in drivability.
